Smrk Hike

Our next hiking trip will be to the Smrk mountain. It is the second highest mountain in the Beskydy mountain range. There is no cottage on the top of the mountain, but we can have a draft beer at the end of our hike while waiting for a train.

❗️For a pleasant experience, we strongly recommend bringing proper outdoor shoes. The difficulty of the trip is high (in total approx. 18 km horizontally and 950 m vertically). It’s nothing extreme, don’t worry. :)

We will meet at the Ostrava-Svinov train station.

We will buy the train tickets together at the Ostrava-Svinov station or you can buy them in advance online (we will send instructions which ticket to buy to the group on Whatsapp). So there is no need to pay at the ESN office before this event.

🧡Meeting point: at 7:40 Ostrava-Svinov train station ( inside of the train station building so we can buy our tickets)

🧡What with you: outdoor sport shoes, student card (ISIC), snacks and drinks for the whole day

🧡Fee: approx. 100 CZK (under 26 years old and with ISIC card) or 200 CZK (without ISIC card)
