Hranice Caves

Hello everyone!

This is the deepest trip with ESN VSB outside the city limits of Ostrava. We’ll go by train and visit caves, the second deepest known abyss in the world and spa resort with many curing springs, cafes and treats (with delicious warm spa waffles)

The trip is the easy one, so you’ll need only clothes and shoes for a short trail to the abyss and clothes for caves (14°C for one hour). Snacks and drinks are highly recommended, but not needed.

Because of the required reservation for english route in the Zbrašov Aragonite Caves, the registration via form below is required. The capacity is limited to 37 people, so only those who registered and then paid in the ESN office will be allowed to come. If you register and don't pay or pay too late you'll be left behind so please be thorough! Transportation will be paid by you so be ready for some train ticket buying. Which should be about 112,- CZK for the whole trip (With ISIC of course).

After the cave visit, If you can’t or don't want to visit the spa resort we will tell you how to return to Ostrava (the route is the same) so you can return whenever convenient.

👉Meeting point: 08:00 Ostrava Svinov station at the square between Train and bus station

👉What to bring with you: Outdoor sport shoes and clothes, clothes for caves, CZK for transportation, student card (ISIC), snack, drinks.

👉Fee: 30 CZK with ESNcard, 40 CZK without ESNcard.

👉Transportation: 112,- CZK with ISIC, 224,-CZK without ISIC
