Come and join a small hiking trip to the hill in Ostrava which is known for its radioactivity.
Halda Ema is a human-made heap behind the river in the city center. It offers a good view of the city.
The heap is still burning inside, the temperature below ground level is around 1000°C. Because of that, there is no snow in winter on the hill, and there is green grass on the top of the hill all year long.
