Behind the forest in the backyard of the campus and dormitories, a star observatory with planetarium stands. There we will travel through the ancient forest, through mud and gravel for about 30 minutes. As a reward you’ll get to see a 80 minute long film about the sky, stars and our galaxy. Additionally the building houses an exposition of natural phenomena, laws of nature and some other cool experiments.
All of this is made free for us as students of VŠB so you don’t have an excuse to miss it.
The walk is through forested dirt paths so be sure to dress accordingly if it gets muddy or rainy.
