Sulovske Rocks Trip

Our next hiking trip will be special because we are going by private bus to Slovakia. The Sulovske Rocks are one of the most attractive hiking places in Slovakia and because of their low altitude they are accessible without snow already in spring. You can look for stunning views of Slovak spring nature and also optional rock climbing parts (easy without any climbing equipment needed). We have ordered a private bus, which will take us from Ostrava-Svinov train station directly to the starting point of our hike in less than 2 hours. If you are coming from dormitories in Ostrava-Poruba, just take the bus 37 from “Studentská” stop at 7:23 to the “Svinov, nádraží stop”. The number of spots is limited and your spot is secured after you pay the trip fee (see below).

❗️ For a pleasant experience, we recommend bringing proper outdoor shoes, snacks, and drinks for the whole day because there won’t be any restaurant during the trip. The difficulty of the trip is medium (only 9 km horizontally and 600 m vertically, but with the optional rock climbing parts).

❗️ The trip is only for fully vaccinated people (maximally 9 months after the last dose) or people who went through Covid-19 (in less than 180 days). These are the current rules for entering Slovakia without an isolation.
