South Moravia trip (19. – 20.10.2019; 5:45 – 20:00)
Hey people,
We would like to inform you that the big weekend trip to South Moravia is coming. In two exciting days, we are going to explore the southern part of the Czech Republic – South Moravia. You can look for the top 3 destinations in this region:
1. The beautiful LEDNICE CHATEAU and park
2. Sightseeing in BRNO (the second-largest city in the Czech Republic)
3. Guided tour through the astonishing PUNKVA CAVES
And the best is yet to come. We have ordered a private minibus which will take us directly from dormitories in Ostrava – Poruba and which will serve us the whole weekend. The cost of the minibus is covered by our university and therefore the transportation will be for free for you. 😊
Program:
Saturday
5:45 – Meeting in the AB lobby of dormitories in Ostrava – Poruba and departure by a bus
8:30 – Arrival to the Lednice Chateau: walk in the beautiful Lednice park, boat sail to the minaret and its visitation. You can buy a snack or lunch there.
14:30 – Departure from Lednice
16:00 – Arrival to a hotel in Brno, check in
17:00 – Sightseeing tour in Brno
21:00 – Dinner in a restaurant in Brno (you can choose from 2 dishes), beer and fun
Sunday
9:00 – Breakfast in the hotel
10:00 – Buying of a snack for the rest of the day, check out
11:30 – Departure from Brno
12:30 – Arrival to Punkva Caves: guided tour in the caves including a sail on the Punkva River underground, walk in a beautiful nature full of caves and rocks.
17:30 – Departure from the Punkevní Caves
20:00 – Arrival back to the dormitories in Ostrava - Poruba
Fee:
1200 CZK with ESNcard or 1300 CZK without ESNcard
The fee covers:
• Transportation by a private minibus during the whole trip
• Ticket for public transport in Brno
• Accommodation in the hotel with breakfast
• Common dinner in Brno (without drinks)
• All the entrance fees (chateau park, boat sail, and minaret in Lednice, Punkva Caves)
If you want to participate, please REGISTER using the form below and PAY the fee in the ESN office (dormitory, building A, 8th floor) during office hours (Mo, We: 5 – 6 pm). The DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT is on Wednesday 9.10.2019.
