Skalka-Ondřejník Hike

Are you ready for our first hiking trip of the semester? We decided to head to Ondřejník, an iconic spot in the Beskydy mountains!

During the hike, you’ll enjoy beautiful nature, your own sweat, and stunning panoramic views. There isn’t any lookout tower nor cottage unfortunately (with the exception of one freshwater spring) so pack enough food and water to last you..

The hike’s difficulty level is around 12 km horizontally and about 600 m vertically.

You will pay for your own train tickets. You can buy them online using the link below or directly at the train station. Don’t worry — we’ll be there to help you at the station if you have any trouble buying your ticket.
